EDDIE EAGLE GUN SAFETY PROGRAM
2 hours

This nationally recognized program developed by the NRA to teach young children gun safety is geared for children Pre-K- Grade 5. This program teaches children what to do if they ever see a gun. Experts have found that children at the elementary school level are the most effective age group to deliver this information to. Children who are never exposed to guns or gun safety material have an increased curiosity towards them that frequently leads to accidents and/or death. They witness scenes on television programs and in the movies that confuse “pretend” and “real” and leave unrealistic consequences imbedded in their minds. The need for firearm safety instruction is critical to further reducing the number of firearm accidents among children.

CPR Classes for High School Students

Many states are now requiring students to have CPR training as part of their graduation requirements. CHTS has provided this training for years to many public and private high schools across the state and will continue to offer this training for high school students at an extremely reduced cost. Classes will be provided during the school day at a rate of $15.00 per student. With our small student/manikin ratios we are able to accommodate groups of students up to 30 at one time. Our flexibility in scheduling has been just one of the benefits of using CHTS for this training.
