Anaphylactic Shock: a sudden severe systemic reaction. Anaphylactic Emergencies can occur at any time. CHTS has developed a training to insure that parents and professionals who work with children will know what to do in the case of an anaphylactic emergency. Participants will learn why we are seeing more food allergies in schools and what the signs are and what to do in the case of an allergic reaction. We will also review DEEC regulations to insure that you have all the paperwork in place to deal with an anaphylactic emergency and what you can and cannot do. Epi-Pen certification is an option at the end of the class for a small additional fee.
